Peter Banachowski is a Los Angeles based comedian and actor. His first comedy album “Fired From Cruise Ships: Recorded Live On A Cruise Ship” was released in 2020, and is available on iTunes, Spotify, and all major platforms.

Peter has appeared in the film “The Honor List” and the TV series “LA’s Finest” starring Jessica Alba.

Born in Ohio and later relocated to Michigan, Peter had an offbeat, Midwest childhood filled with Catholicism, picking strawberries, breaking bones, working minimum wage jobs, and developing one of the better defense mechanisms; humor.

He started performing at 17 years old and developed his early chops in the Detroit stand-up and improv comedy scenes until he moved to Los Angeles in 2010.

Often the token white guy, he’s been hosting and featuring at the California Improv Comedy Clubs for a decade, performing along the likes of famous people you know, but the one he cares to mention is Maz Jobrani. That’s because Maz has personally asked Peter to open for him on multiple occasions and it humbles Peter every time.

Peter is also and avid activist and volunteer. He’s attends marches and protests for any cause that reduces the oppression of under-served classes. He’s also spent over four years tutoring math to homeless youth on Skid Row in LA, a trait acknowledged and congratulated in a letter of thanks from Barack Obama himself. That is his greatest pride.

Meeting Gabrielle Union was pretty tight too.
